Thonik Studio;
Concept and Design: MVRDV; Interior: Richard Hutten; Together with Jacob van Rijs of MVRDV architects and interior designer Richard Hutten a space is created that reflects Thonik view of design. Aaron Betksy, former director of the Dutch Architecture Institute (NAI) called it a collaboration of kindred spirits, of people who share the same attitudes in graphic and product design and architecture. With the colour and the artificial material the building might be easily mistaken for a model, or an artist's impression. Architectural critic Hans Ibelings described it as 'an idea, life-size'.
