Exhibition;
During the exhibition Thonik temporarily transformed the entire institutes exhibition space. The Spiral cafe moved to the present exhibition area. Thonik designed new tables, plates and cups to suit the new location. This temporary eating and drinking area is the installation that Thonik makes especially for the present architecture. Thonik incorporates Japanese food culture into their exhibition. This because Thonik sees this culture and its rituals as an essential basis for Japanese art and design. The other areas (including the present cafe area) will be used to show Thoniks work up to now.
From 15 till 29 December 2009
