Annual Report;
As design policy advisor, the Raad voor Cultuur (Culture Council) commissions designs from successive new, young designers. Thonik decided to interlink this annual report with a journey Thomas and Nikki made that year to the Asmat people of New Guinea. The two narratives each start with their own front cover and interweave opposite sides. An opencut cover complements he titlepage text with the announcement '1996: this year we sought Council from a Culture; here is the report.'
