Proton-ICA
Identity and Visual Communication;
Proton ICA was the small continuation of leading contemporary art gallery (the ICA) in Amsterdam, Proton had no permanent residence so it was vital that the focus of attention was directed to the institute rather than its temporary exhibitions. The identity consisted of a sheet with a square on one side yellow and the other side a white sqaure on a yellow sheet. Each invite was printed in unmixed Pantone colours over the yellow background. The result of the mix was totally random and not chosen to fit the sphere of the exhibition.
