'Llove Hotel'

For this exhibition Thonik designed graphic wall-papers for the entrance and cafe. Thonik's inspiration for the design of the LLOVE Hotel in Tokyo is the Rotterdam VOC ship: "De Liefde" ("the love"). In 1600 this ship was the first and only of a fleet of 5 vessels that reached its final destination: Japan!
