Dutch Design Fashion Architecture
Identity and Visual Communication;
Dutch Design Fashion Architecture (DutchDFA) is a four-year strategic programme (2009-2012) that aims to strengthen the international position of these three sectors in China, India, Germany and Turkey. Triangles representing the three sectors formed the starting point for the programme?s visual identity. The iconic font is constructed on a grid of triangles in different colours. The pattern appears both two- and three-dimensional, again reflecting the three creative sectors. Deliberately no reference was made in this identity to the straight lines of the Dutch landscape or to classic symbols of Holland, although for one mailing a tulip was found in the triangle grid.
